Based on public health recommendations, we intend to continue phasing in students to in-person learning on March 1. Our next phase includes:
- Grade 1
- Students in our Intensive Academic Center (IAC) program (K-12)
We will phase in other elementary grades in the weeks after March 1.
- Grades 2 and 3 will begin at least two weeks after March 1
- Grades 4 and 5 will begin at least two weeks after the start of grades 2 and 3
We are asking families with students in PreK-5 or our IAC program (K-12) to commit to hybrid or fully remote instruction by January 29. To do so, please fill out the commitment form below for each of your students in PreK-5 or our IAC program (K-12). If your student is in an IAC program in K-5th grade, please fill out the elementary form.
To help you make the best, informed decision for your family, please find below our hybrid model and resources with the latest information.
Hybrid Instruction Information
We will use a hybrid model with students attending school half-days four days per week. In this model, students who choose hybrid instruction will attend in-person in either the morning or afternoon. They will participate in Distance Learning the other half of the day and all day on Wednesday.
Bus transportation will be provided for students who qualify.
Families will also have the option to have their students continue in fully remote learning, if they choose.
More detailed information is posted on our 2021 Learning webpage.
On January 14, we hosted a family webinar to dive deeper into our hybrid learning plan. Please find below a replay of the webinar and the PowerPoint slides presented.
Thank you to all who participated. We were able to capture all the questions asked in the Q&A and we will add as many as possible to the website.
We will continue to send updates via email and post the information online.
